GISB Virtual Speaker Series: What is Climate Action? How Can We Make a Difference?

Thursday, January 19, 2022, 7:00 – 8:00 pm ET

The current infrastructure makes it extremely difficult to reconcile our daily lives and climate protection. Not everyone has the opportunity to trade in their car for a bike. Learn how you can make a difference without setting yourself unrealistic hurdles and understand how simple actions can have a big impact on achieving a sustainable lifestyle.

This event is part of an increased effort at German International School Boston to promote sustainable thinking and actions inside and outside the classroom. Already today, teachers in all grades integrate environmental science and sustainability topics into their curriculum, which ranges from learning about pollinators in preschool to plastic chemistry and consumption in high school.
