Street Art | Project Peace

“I define peace as a world in which all people can live equally without bias or prejudice.”

In response to recent racial injustice and human inequality, grades 11 and 12 were asked to express their thoughts on peace through Street Art Style installations, under the guidance of their art teacher Utku Wanami. The creative art pieces are displayed in the High School hallway, but since COVID restrictions prevent visitors from entering the building, the artists’ statements and videos have also been compiled on a website. Please take a look and find out what peace means to the high school students of GISB.
