German International School Boston has secured long-term leases for two campuses. One is the existing 57 Holton Street campus, and the other is a new campus on 46 Belmont Street in Watertown. The new lease agreements will give GISB much-needed room for its growing student body. The new campus on Belmont Street will be the future home of GISB’s preschool, kindergarten, and elementary school programs, giving the school a unique opportunity to have all younger students at one campus. The existing Holton Street Campus will be the base for GISB’s middle and high school students. GISB’s Board of Trustees anticipates that by summer 2025, the Belmont Street campus will be ready to welcome preschool, kindergarten and elementary school students. Both campuses will undergo renovations in the coming years.
After announcing the exciting news to the community at the fall membership meeting, members of the Board of Trustees and leadership team came together to celebrate this important milestone in GISB’s history with a toast!
