International Student Program (ISP) Applications
There are several steps to becoming an exchange student at German International School Boston:
- Step 1: Join one of the virtual Information Sessions or contact us for more information.
- Step 2: Submit an online application and supporting documents.
- Step 3: Contact us to set up an academic assessment, which will help us determine if GISB is a good academic fit for you.
- Step 4: Schedule an online interview. The interview is an opportunity to get to know you and for you to ask questions about the program.
- Step 5: Once your application is complete, we will make an enrollment decision based on the timeline above. If accepted, the School will initiate enrollment, the visa application process, and search for a host family match.
The admissions timeline for international students is the same as for regular students. Please click here to review the admissions timelines.
Please note that we require students wishing to apply for grade 10 to have had at least two years of French or Spanish. We, unfortunately, do not offer Latin or Italian at GISB.
