High School: Learning about the Complexity of Governance

Grade 11 & 12 students embarked on a two-day virtual political education adventure. Students learned about the complexity of governance and politics through an online simulation game called “Klima im Wandel - Changing Climate."

Climate Change Week

In recognition of Earth Day, GISB dedicated a full week to climate change and sustainability. Teachers coordinated projects, experiments, and more to engage students in this critical subject.

German International School Boston turns 20!

We are excited to celebrate our 20th anniversary this school year! GISB was founded by a dedicated group of German parents and Boston community members and was officially inaugurated by German President Johannes Rau.

Ritter Rost Author visits GISB

German author and illustrator Jörg Hilbert met with our students for a virtual ‘Bücherwerkstatt’ - Book Making Workshop. Jörg Hilbert is the author of the beloved Ritter Rost books and one of the all-time favorite children’s book authors in German-speaking countries.
