Bringing Our Campuses Together: Partner Classes Visit the Lower Campus

At GISB, every class at the Lower Campus has a partner class at the Upper Campus. This special connection gives students the chance to build friendships across grade levels and strengthens our community across both campuses.

This week, students from the Upper Campus made the journey from Allston to Watertown to spend a few hours with their younger buddies at the Lower Campus. It was a time filled with fun, learning, and connection.

During their visit, students:

  • Played games together
  • Worked on creative art projects
  • Read books side by side
  • Enjoyed casual social time

The younger students were thrilled to see their “big buddies,” and the older students enjoyed mentoring and sharing experiences. It was a wonderful example of how our two campuses come together to foster meaningful relationships and a sense of community.

We captured these special moments in a photo collection below, showing the laughter, creativity, and connections that make these visits so memorable.

We can’t wait for the next visit!
