College Counseling & Career Guidance

College and career guidance at German International School Boston reflect our overall approach of providing each student with tailored support. Our small size allows our college and career counselors and teachers to truly get to know each student. Students benefit from one-on-one support, group sessions, workshops, and visits from university representatives as they work to choose colleges and universities that match their interests and strengths.

During the college counseling process, students draw upon the reflective and analytical skills honed through their time at GISB to inform their college choices. Our college counselors regularly invite our alumni to share their perspectives and provide insights into the admissions process. GISB’s global student body applies to colleges and universities around the world and our counselors have a wealth of knowledge regarding the different application processes and requirements from North America, Canada, Europe, and beyond. In addition, to college counseling services, GISB offers career counseling to all students, which includes resume writing, interview prep, and career mentor programs.
