September 25, 2026 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
The GISB Parent Council invites the entire GISB community to join us for an Oktoberfest celebration on Friday afternoon, September 25. Enjoy typical Bavarian food, beer, and more at the Upper Campus. Dirndl and Lederhosen are encouraged but not required to enjoy a fun afternoon with friends and family.
There is no charge for food or beverages, but we warmly ask all guests to make a donation during the event! Every contribution helps us cover our costs and continue offering community celebrations like Oktoberfest. We truly appreciate your support!
Be sure to bring an ID or driver’s license. You must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol at the event.
Grade 12 students will be selling waffles and offering face painting. Funds raised will support the Abiball of the Class of 2027.
Parking is limited. Please be prepared to find alternative parking at the Artesani parking lot.
Students who are signed up for Student Life on Friday will have the chance to join the Oktoberfest briefly with their teacher to get some food, but will not participate in the festivities. If you would like your child to attend Oktoberfest, please pick them up from Student Life yourself.
The After-School Program at the Lower Campus will run as usual until 6:00 PM.
Please note that this is a GISB Community event and, unlike the GISB Christkindlmarkt, will not be open to the public.

Schulessen
