Over the past twelve years, the German International School Boston has undergone continuous development and expansion with increasing enrollment numbers and the addition of a new grade every year. With the 2011/2012 school year the level of high quality bilingual education will be extended with the opening of the new Oberstufe (11th/12th grade). This represents a major achievement of providing internationally recognized high school degrees: the German International Abitur and the Massachusetts High School Diploma.
This rapid development would not have been possible without the personal and financial support of many individuals and organizations.
Thanks to your generous contributions in the past, the school has achieved to finance the construction of a state-of-the-art science lab, a preschool classroom and playground as well as a multi-functional gallery (link to pictures). Donations received in 2010 and 2011 have allowed us to fund the equipment and furniture of the new Oberstufenzentrum (Senior High School) to suit older student’s needs.
Why donations are important for GISB’s future
The GISB is an independent, private school, which is financially supported by the German Government. GISB’s commitment to the further development of its school programs and teaching methods comes with demands on facilities and equipment, where additional funding is needed.
You can become an essential part of GISB’s future: every donation, regardless of size, is valuable and important for our school’s further development in offering high-quality education for our students.
As a non-profit institution, your financial contribution to the GISB is tax-deductible to the fullest extent as allowed by law.
