2016-2017 Admission Deadlines:


Deadlines for students CURRENTLY ATTENDING GISB & siblings:


January 15, 2016:

  • Sibling applications due

  • Returning student & sibling financial aid applications due


February 1, 2016:

  • Notification letters will be sent to siblings

  • Financial aid decisions will be sent out to current families


February 15, 2016:

  • Returning student & sibling enrollment agreements & tuition deposits due (Re-enrollment forms will be available the 2nd week of January)


Families who re-enroll after the February 15th deadline will be charged a $200 late fee per child.


Deadlines for students NEW to GISB:


February 1, 2016:

  • New student applications due (incl. non-refundable application fee)

  • New student financial aid applications due


March 1, 2016:

  • New student acceptance Letters will be sent out

  • Financial aid decisions will be sent out to new students


April 1, 2016:

  • New student enrollment agreements & tuition deposits due


German International School Boston is fully enrolled and we anticipate full enrollment for 2016-2017. Families who apply after the February 1st, 2016 deadline may be placed in a wait pool and space may not become available for 2016-2017.


Students are selected for admission into GISB and placed on the basis of:


  • German Language Proficiency (level of proficiency depends on the grade student is applying to)

  • Developmental Maturity

  • Academic Achievement and Potential

  • Social Readiness for the GISB Program

  • Current Enrollment at GISB

  • Enrollment of Siblings at GISB
